Kongju
Kongju means “Princess” in Korean and is the pride
and joy of Pathumwan Princess Hotel. Guests may opt to dine in the main
restaurant area or one of its private rooms. Each table has a
traditional charcoal stove that let’s you know this restaurant’s
specialty is grilled table top cooking.
The service is provided by traditionally dressed
staff and you are initially greeted by a hostess at a wonderful
reception area. Service throughout the venue is prompt and courteous
even during the restaurant’s rush hours. It is recommended to dine here
with four or more people so that a variety of grilled items and
delicacies can be sampled.
As a prelude to other Korean delights, sample an
assortment of their ‘kimchi’ and enjoy ‘Mee Yeok Mu Chim’, seasoned
seaweed salad. A must try is the hors d’oeuvre specialty ‘Pa Jeon’, pan-fried
spring onion, mussel and squid pancake. Savor in ‘Sam Gae Tang’, ginseng
chicken stew with sticky rice and a selection of appetizing Korean
barbecue.
Dine in a
surrounding with remembrances of Korea galore at Kongju.
