Ma Maison
Geometrical doors folded along the sides greets you
as you walk into the restaurant with the subtle lighting and red tones
that almost reflect off from the color of the table cloth. Moreover,
with the ceiling to floor glass paneled windows one cannot help but
notice the alfresco dining outside amidst the luscious gardens.
My dining companions had Vapolicella, a wine by the
glass whereas I opted for a Mojito. We enthused the palate with an amuse
bouche of cherry tomato with goat cheese and pancetta bacon. Following
on was the ‘pan-fried mullet and foie gras escalope presented on a bed
of Jerusalem artichoke puree; the ‘roasted sea bream fillet served
citrus salad’ was a balanced taste combination. Then we cleansed our
palate with a refreshing passion fruit sorbet prior to savoring in ‘veal
trio’, crispy sweet bread and raspberry dressing pan-roasted veal chops
and porcini crust. A perfect way to round off the meal was with ‘3
reasons to love chocolate’, a soft chocolate cake, chocolate caramel
croquant and chocolate sherbet.
Visit Ma Maison for French dining with a modern
twist.
