Next2 Café & Terrace
A third of the seating is inside whereas the other
two thirds on the terrace by the river. Inside are the seafood and
Japanese counters, the salad bar with a wealth of dressing and salads
tossed to order.
A team of Asian chefs were creating a selection of
Thai and Malay dishes plus a choice of two carved roast joints; beef and
lamb.
Present during the evenings only are three live
cooking stations out on the terrace. At the Mongolian, a chef wielding
two swords will chop and cook on a large circular hot plate. Indian
curries and Tandoori roasted meats on the next along with fresh
barbequed seafood on the other. On the cheese counter, there is a
selection of nine varieties before ‘raspberry crème brulee’ and ‘rich
bread & butter pudding’ for dessert.
We enjoyed an Australian Moore’s Creek, a nice
fresh crisp wine one of six that are available by the glass. The
extensive range of food choices is more than enough to satisfy all
needs.
