So how does it exactly work? You are first taken to cable 1, where you can practice "Zipping" at low altitude. After a few practice runs on cable 1, their crew members take you up the tower to cable 2, which is about 14 meters high, and hook you to the cable. Off you go! But don't worry, because there is always a crew member waiting to assist you on the next platform when you land. At all times you are locked on, you cannot fall!

The cable rides, or "zip lines" are steel cables stretched between the trees, and ridden by locking onto a double pulley system. You wear a rock climbing harness, and use double hang straps. All systems are rated for far beyond the weight range used during these activities. Treetop Tour uses all state of the art equipment. You are locked on to the cable at all times, even when you are on the tree platforms.

Their crew members are always there to assist you and ensure your safety. After zipping the cables you can then walk through the orchid forest and look at all the rare and exotic flora and fauna. Treetop Tour has a round trip transport available from anywhere on the island. You can call them to arrange a pickup time. The cable rides including your transport will take around 3 hours. But of course you can stay longer and enjoy the views, actually some of the best on the island, walk through the beautiful orchid forest and relax in the hammocks.
