One Wedding and an Elephant
If you are interested in tropical Koh Samui wedding, Rocky’s in Lamai
has many options available to you. They provide Christian, non-secular
or Buddhist-style weddings, and each can be completely customized to
ensure they help you create the most memorable day possible. Rocky’s can
provide you with everything you need to make your wedding perfect, at
only a fraction of the cost that you would pay in your home country.
Nothing is quite as romantic as saying ‘I do’ on the beach, on a
tropical island, under the shining sun and bright blue sky. You can
share your special day with friends and loved ones or simply savor the
moment just for yourselves. They can help make all your wedding dreams
come true.
Doesn’t it all sound great? Ryan and Beccy from the UK took the
opportunity to get married at Rocky’s and even took it a step further if
it comes to originality.
The event started in the afternoon and the guests began to gather on
the beachfront in preparation for the ceremony. But meanwhile,
unbeknownst to the guests, the groom and his best man were on the water
on jet skis, waiting for the right moment to appear. After all the
guests were seated, the pair of them raced towards the beach and up the
sand, to the enthusiastic applause of all those who had gathered.
The bride then made her appearance accompanied by a parade of Thai
dancers and musicians and the couple was treated to a blessing given by
the head monk of the local temple. Following the blessing, the ceremony
proceeded to the traditional reading of the vows, followed by sparkling
wine, canapés, and a photo shoot. After that, the entire group proceeded
to the next beach where they planted a coconut tree for good luck.
Meanwhile a wedding elephant was waiting, in full regalia. With the help
of a tall ladder, the couple mounted, and rode away down the beach, into
the waning sun.
In the evening, there was a wonderful five course dinner served, with
plenty of merrymaking, fine speeches, and Rocky’s signature fireworks.
