Out For a Beer

Now that the relatively short high season is tapering down things are slowly getting back to normal. The working girls who wait for months for the high season to supply them and their families with a generous amount of cash are coming back down to reality and asking for money that reflects reason and customer satisfaction. There are some great entertainment venues worth considering and the better ones can be found advertising in this publication. Usually, we will review these clubs and include a few other venues yet to advertise in an attempt to be a little bit unbiased. This month besides the well known Walking Street area we went to a few places off the beaten path.

The Roof Top Bar located just before Walking Street on the Beach side is a unique, roomy, open aired bar that seems to have a something for everybody type of concept. It also is open when most bars are closed and is operated by a very friendly husband and wife team that understands the importance of making customers happy. Good varied music, attentive, attractive and friendly staff, a dance floor, games, pool tables and even some free lance girls made this especially interesting to me. It also is a comfortable place for couples who want to get away from the hustle/bustle pick up places and still want to be close to the action of Walking Street. The Roof Top Bar is definitely a bar that everyone coming to Pattaya should at least check out.

For those guys who like intimate Go-Go environments, Baby Dolls A-Go-Go and XXX A-Go-Go both located on Soi 15 on Walking Street and owned by the same group are two good choices. The experienced Management team here constructed both facilities with intimacy in mind and the XXX A-Go-Go slogan of “girls in your face” definitely rings true in this Soi 15 entertainment lair. Strong drinks priced a bit less than most other venues located in the area make it nice for those on a tight budget.

Next, our group decided to take our road machines to a place a friend of mine had talked about called The Oasis, located on the corner of Soi Buakhao and Soi Chaiyapoon. Soi Buakhao has been a main street that has been coming into it's own in terms of variety in entertainment but for some reason has never had a Go-Go type venue such as the kind Oasis presents. Comparable to most of the Go-Go's available on Walking Street, we were also pleasantly surprised by the lovelies that really made us feel welcome. The Oasis is A definite must for anyone looking for something a bit different in a different end of town. Although we were having such a good time at The Oasis, duty called and sometimes you just got to do what you've got to do. Our next stop was down to Soi 8 in Central Pattaya off of Second Road. Sexy Girls A-Go-Go. Sexy Girls is one of two Go-Go's on this very popular Beer Bar and Restaurant Soi. Incidentally, if you get hungry, I would highly recommend Tequila Reef located on Soi 7 just on the next Soi close to the beach side. Great Mexican Cuisine with special Margarita's to get you primed before you check out the action on 7 and 8. Back to our topic at hand. Sexy Girls is another one of those intimate Go-Go's where it's small but comfortable. Our Thai host, Pong is a guy I've known for several years and is a friendly sort that loves to meet and greet Farangs that come into his place. He's a good one to know in this town and will give you information on any girl in Sexy you might be interested in. It's won't be easy making your choice for company in Sexy as there are always a few real sweet honey's in this place. It's a good idea to get there early as it seems the guys on this Soi make their decision fast on the available girls. This makes Sexy A-Go-Go a great place to go Out For A Beer.
