Fatties
A perfect restaurant for anyone homesick for a meal from home. Fatties specializes in English, American, Mexican, and Thai food. The only problem you'll encounter is deciding on what you want to eat. The extensive menu includes fish and chips, bangers and mash, ridiculously huge hamburgers, steaks, chilli, stuffed potato skins, spaghetti, jacket potatoes, tacos, nachos, enchiladas, pies, chops, full breakfast, pancakes, salads, sandwiches, soup, over 50 Thai dishes, and much more. Portions are large, even by Western standards. So far, only a handful of people have finished the 1/2 kilo double cheeseburger. However, if you can save room for dessert, apple pie, different versions of the ice cream sundae, fruit, banana splits, and more await. Hippo Restaurant & Piano Bar
The Hippo has a new French chef who offers you the kind of food you have been dreaming for at very reasonable prices. For example:
1) The lunch menu till late in the afternoon (!) for only 185 Baht a glass of white or red wine or a draft beer or a soft drink included. And this menu changes every day and lets you choose between 2 entrees, a meat or a fish and 2 desserts. For those who don’t like menus, there is a short quick carte to choose from.
2) At the Hippo, you must not be afraid about the bill if you bring your kids with you. For kids under 13, we have 2 menus for 129 and 159 Baht, a soft drink included.
3) In the evening we open our gastronomic carte with at least one menu with 2 quarters of red or white wine or 2 draft beers included. And don't forget that your Thai friends can always order delicious Thai food from the Thai Kitchen of the Welkom Inn.
4) And if you are in love and want to seduce the girl of your dreams, your best chance of success starts with a romantic diner at our Piano-Bar. The menus, the carte and the prices are the same as at the Hippo.

Lobster Pot
Wonderful atmosphere can be found at this outdoor restaurant overlooking the ocean. The Special of the house is the seafood platter, just brimming with fish and shellfish, which you can order steamed or fried. Also available are king lobster thermidor, and seafood served in coconut milk.
