Baan Rim Pa - Thai
Without a doubt Phuket's best-known restaurant Baan Rim Pa has for many years been the example of the finest in Royal Thai Cuisine.
The location alone is remarkable. Open to the sea breezes on three sides, this magnificent Thai style house turned restaurant, provides some of the best views on the island.
Guests are greeted by friendly staff and shown to tables overlooking the ocean and lights of Patong, to the bar for pre-dinner drinks, or around the grand piano where Tommy Doyle at the piano and Bolek Peplowski on saxophone nightly, except Mondays.
Internationally renowned and awarded for its excellence in both taste and presentation, the cuisine at Baan Rim Pa has been described as "too good to eat".
The Cellar, rapidly attaining a reputation as one of the best wine cellars in Thailand, and possibly Asia, houses almost 5,000 bottles of wine. It has been awarded with the prestigious Wine Spectator "Award of Excellence" 2002, 3, 4, 5 & 6.
